SECTION: 1
Global Rules
1) GameSpot will not allow any hacking software and/or programs that contain harmful viruses. In other words,
NO distribution of harmful software or programs that may endanger one’s computer or you will be ip banned.


2) If a member of GameSpot is subjected to uploading any harmful programs and the witness of the member does not report it, then the witness will be held accountable of that person and will be banned or suspended from GameSpot.


3) Users using the forum may not release any websites that may contain malicious software and or malicious files.
The person will be banned from the forum if this occurs.


4) If you make more then 1 account all your accounts will be banned + IP & or MAC, All banned Users are posted off site in a Blacklist.


5) User harassment will not be tolerated. For example (you suck, go get a life, , f you, etc),
will not be tolerated and will lead to a BAN of the forum depending on the statement said and the abuse to the player the statement has caused.


6) Users asking for special privileges (becoming a moderator, receiving special membership (unless a good reason is stated) will receive a warning. If it occurs again, the player will be suspended judging on the circumstance. If you want to become a moderator, simply apply.


7) Users are to treat Moderators and Admin’s with respect. If the user is found to be harassing or begging a moderator or admin
for anything that may be against their ability or that may just be something only “special members” have privileges for,
the moderator/admin will have the authority to choose the action needed.


8 ) When uploading a program or software to the forum you MUST have a virus scan attached and it must be regarding the
program being uploaded. If it is a false scan (another file was scanned instead of the file being uploaded to be released)
YOU WILL BE BANNED PERMANANTLY! If it contains any harmful viruses!


9) Spamming will not be tolerated and will be unacceptable. You will be warned and if the spamming continues to worsen,
you will be banned based on the amount of warning given.(Also, replying as a post or thread stating only 2-4 words is marked as spam so don't do it or a warning is give)


10) Lies about being a MOD/Admin will not be tolerated and will be unacceptable. If this rule is broken in anyway it will result in a ban or suspended account.

11) All hack postings must have a picture included with the post, you will be asked to provide it, if you don't put one up, it will be deleted.

12) You may only swear in the Rage section. Try not to offend anyone (that means no racism)

13) IF YOU DARE TRY TO GET THIS WEBSITE BANNED YOU WILL BE IP BANNED ALONG WITH YOUR COMPUTER BEING CRASHED... nexon is not aloud here!

14) And try to actually speak proper english. If you are still learning it then thats fine but if you don't know much. English Wiki


-Any posts containing Warez, Mal-ware, and Phishing will result in dire consequences. Read section 3 about the infraction system and what the punishment is for any of these.

SECTION: 2
Spamming/Advertising/etc

1) DO NOT go to another site/forum and spam/advertise GameSpot we do not endorse in any way from it. We gain members on our own. Not only that but it WILL 'cause more trouble for our forums/members so they'll most likely spam/advertise here. If you're caught doing so you WILL be handled accordingly.


2) No Porn Or Explicit images in posts/thread/signature. It's NOT allowed and NOT appropriate for an hacking community. If you're found doing so, we WILL take the proper precautions.


3) The moderators and admins of GameSpot are here to help you so don’t hesitate to ask them a question or ask for help.
They are happy to help. But be warned. Moderators and admins aren’t just here to help you, they are here to keep the members of the GameSpot community safe as well as keep everyone in line. Admins and moderators will not tolerate an intolerable or a malicious person who only wants to cause damage to members.


4) Refer to the website via forum for any questions you may have that may be answered already. Do this to not
cause further explanation. *SEARCH BEFORE YOU ASK*

Infraction System
GameSpot Infraction System is as follows:
* Advertising on other websites------------------------Ban Duration: 10 days

* Double posting-------------------------Ban Duration: 3 warnings first, if still done it will be a 1 day ban.

* Spamming----------------------------------- Ban Duration: 1 day, if major spamming ban will be permanent.

* Insulting-----Ban Duration: 2 days, when your ban is up, you must appologize to that person who you insulted via pm, or be banned for 10 days.

* Warez------------------------------------------- Ban Duration: Forever.
* Malware--------------------------------------- Ban Duration: Forever.
* Phishing------------------------------------------- Ban Duration: Forever.

* No VirusTotal Scan-------------Ban Duration: you will be told to put one, if there isn't one after being asked, you will be banned permanently via admin!

* Asking when next hack is coming out------------------------- Ban Duration: we will tell you to wait for it to be released, if you continue to spam the staff or members, you will be banned for 2 days!

* Begging for any type of hack-----------------Ban Duration: you will be warned, if begging continues it's a 1day ban. Just post a suggestion.

* Lies about being MOD/Admin--------------------Ban Duration: 10day ban, We highly restrict this!

* No Profanity In Forum / Signatures:--------------------- Ban Duration: If seen you will be banned for 3days.

* Trying to get the website down----------------Ban Duration: FOR LIFE, YOUR IP BANNED.

SECTION: 4
MODERATOR RULES:

1) Moderators must follow all of the rules above, or be demoted, if seriouse amount of rules broken, a moderator may be banned.

2) Moderators can ban now, but you must post in the abuse section telling us why you banned the person and what rule the user broke.

3) Moderators be aware, the admins of GameSpot can see what you do, so don't you dare try to make a bad move, or your ip banned. Yeah we have your ip.

4) Moderators must listen to the admins, and there head moderator, or be demoted.

5) Chat box moderators, you are aloud to kick, for good reasons only, if you abuse it we will demote you off of chat box.

Agreement to Rules and Terms of Service

-You hereby agree to follow the rules and terms of service. If you break this agreement under any circumstance,
you will not be accepted here at GameSpot (in other words you are not privileged to use our hacks).

-If you find anything wrong with this agreement, report it to the admin.

-This agreement will be modified from time to time. So make sure to read any changes that may have been made.

-GameSpot accepts you. Just follow the admin’s own personal rules and you will be fine here. Welcome!

For breaking above rules you may be warned/banned appropriately!
